Help Hope Live

After Jack's accident we were flooded with support resources. Honestly, it was overwhelming. We were very lucky to connect with The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation who helped guide us. Many reached out asking how to help. The Foundation led us to the platform Help Hope Live. This nonprofit organization collects donations and processes the payments for fees associated with catastrophic traumas not covered by health insurance.

About Help Hope Live...

Even with health insurance, a medical crisis can create a significant financial burden most families cannot meet alone.

For 40 years, Help Hope Live has been showing clients and families how to bring together a network of relatives, friends, and neighbors in fundraising efforts to help cover the cost of uninsured medical expenses. These efforts play a critical role in helping their clients recover and maintain their health and independence. The Help Hope Live platform is a resource that helps to pay a wide range of expenses, including out-of-pocket costs for: medications, durable medical equipment, home health care, wheelchair-accessibility modifications, physical therapy, innovative treatments, medical travel and temporary relocation, even emergency living assistance.

We continue fundraising for Jack, with the hopes to keep all therapies (physical and emotional) in place to further Jack's mobility, independence, and goals.  Currently these therapies are costing about $65,000 a year ($5500/month) out-of-pocket, as they are not covered by insurance.
